Tuesday, June 20, 2023, we revisited Wouter Joubert’s new dance (slightly revised) and tried a few more dances.

Tuesday, June 13, 2023, we enjoyed a visit from Joan Baker who used to teach dancing in California. She danced a gentle strathspey and taught a fun dance she wrote. We had a new dancer, Emily, who is not new to SCD, but new to us and we hope will continue to join us. We also got to try out Wouter Joubert’s new dance accompanied by his recording of his own music. We danced a few other fun dances and decided we will return to having a dance of the month and Wouter’s will be the one for June.

Tuesday, June 6, 2023, we finished preparing for the Midwest Scottish Weekend. We talked about Ball Etiquette and worked on 3 of the more challenging dances. We also did a few fun dances.
