Tuesday, July 30, 2024, we welcomed Alison and Ross from New Zealand. We did 3 dances from the TAC Ball and a few other fun dances. We walked the snake pass, petronella triangles, the snowball grand chain, and set and rotate.

Tuesday, July 24, 2024, Noel Chávez taught the class. We did some practice of moving from setting to traveling in strathspey time, quicktime setting with turning in pas-de-basque, the 3-couple promenade, and half figures of 8.

Tuesday, July 16, 2024, we danced 5 more dances from the Jink & Diddle dance program, a Strathspey with Schiehallion reels, and a couple of other fun dances. We walked through ladies’ chain, the espagnole, the tourbillon, and Schiehallion reels.

Tuesday, July 9, 2024, we started working on Schiehallion reels and did a few beginner dances and one dance from Delaware Valley Gold. We walked through parallel reels of 4, half diagonal reels of 4, set and rotate, and Schiehallion reels. Here’s a marvelous video of the Glasgow SCD group dancing Schiehallion reels.
