Tuesday, August 26, 2025, we introduced set and link for 3 couples in strathspey time and tried a couple popular more-challenging dances and Carrie taught one of the set and link dances. We continued to start with a talk-through-only dance.

Tuesday, August 19, 2025, we worked more on the strathspey poussette, the knot, diagonal rights and lefts, and revisited set and link for 2 couples, double triangles, and corner-partner. We also talked about thinking ahead and how many dances flow from one figure to another or one turn to the next. And we again had a talk-through-only dance to start the evening.

Tuesday, August 12, 2025, Noel Chávez taught the class and worked on turning 1 3/4 in 4 bars, reviewed the strathspey poussette, the knot, and the strathspey half-poussette. She brought some new dances to try as well as some old favorites.

Tuesday, August 5, 2025, Carrie and Aileen each taught a dance from the Unit 2 dance list and we continued to work on the strathspey poussette and diagonal rights and lefts as well as dancing a dance from a talk-through only. We also tried a new dance from Wouter to give him feedback and did a couple of fun old friends.
