Tuesday, July 29, 2025, we introduced the knot to the newer dancers. We continued to work on diagonal rights and lefts and danced several dances with one or the other figure that also include other recently worked-on figures.

Tuesday, July 22, 2025, we worked on the strathspey poussette again and introduced the corners chain figure and the tourbillon. We started with a talk-through-only dance, danced a couple of dances from the Jink & Diddle program, a couple of dances with diagonal rights and left and a couple of dances with the strathspey poussette.

Tuesday, July 15, 2025, Noel Chávez taught the class and worked on hearing the bars and transitions in music as well as understanding reels and jigs. The class started with Mady Newfield leading an exercise in hearing the bars in music. Later Noel introduced the half strathspey poussette and then the full all-round poussette. She also had the newer dancers dance a classic dance and the experienced dancers dance a more complex variation of the dance.

Tuesday, July 1, 2025, we introduced the new dancers to the figure diagonal rights and lefts and also tried doing a dance from a talk-through only. Among the dances done were a few with diagonal rights and lefts, a couple from the Jink & Diddle dance program, repeats of a couple of dances done previously, and a dance we were invited to do from the upcoming Book 54!
