Tuesday, April 21, 2026, we had a concurrent new dancer class taught by Noel Chávez for the first half hour that covered figures of 8, half figures of 8, and introduced corners. Then we combined the new dancers and the regular class dancers for 3 dances and introduced the allemande for 2 couples.  We spent most of the night working on spring dance dances since there are only 2 classes to cover those dances.

Tuesday, April 14, 2026, we ended up cancelling class as the weather report was for strong thunderstorms, hail, and possible tornadoes and we wanted to keep everyone safe.

Tuesday, April 7, 2026, we had 3 new dancers join us. Noel Chávez spent the first half of the class working on basics: skip-change, hands across, 4-bar turns, leading down the middle and up, circle, and rights and lefts.  Later we danced a dance for Tartan Day, a dance for April 1st, and worked on diagonal and half diagonal reels of 4 and diagonal rights and lefts.
