Tuesday, March 31, 2026, Rebecca Winnie came down to work with our teacher candidates and brought Shelby Yahn with her.  Rebecca taught 2 dances and worked on the tourneé. Aileen worked on strathspey traveling steps and reels of 3 across then introduced a 16-bar partial dance in strathspey time.  Carrie worked in skip-change and pas de Basque with transitions from pas de Basque to skip-change and vice-versa, set and cast off or up, and left shoulder reels of 3 on the sides in quicktime.

Tuesday, March 24, 2026, Noel Chávez taught the class. We danced three Madison Ball dances and some other fun dances.  We worked on inverting double triangles, figures of 8 on the sides in Strathspey time to practice timing, set & rotate in both strathspey and quicktime, the knot in both strathspey and quicktime, hello-goodbye setting, and corners pass and turn.

Tuesday, March 17, 2026, we danced some Madison Ball dances, a dance for St Patrick's Day, and some dances with half diagonal reels of 4 and diagonal rights and lefts.  Other figures we worked on were the bourrel for 3 couples, half turn and cast away, hello-goodbye setting, the spoke and the espagnole.

Tuesday, March 10, 2026, we ended up cancelling class as the weather report was for strong thunderstorms, hail, and possible tornadoes and we wanted to keep everyone safe.

Tuesday, March 3, 2026, we worked mostly on dances from the Madison Ball. We worked on half rights and lefts, the snake pass, half reels of 4, set and link for 3 couples, the strathspey poussette – both regular and half, diagonal rights and lefts, and the rose progression.
